White sand beach
Iritahama Beach stretches only 400 meters, giving it a sense of privacy, and there’s not much risk of debris and driftwood washing ashore. The straight line pattern left by waves crashing against the shore is evidence of the water’s peacefulness. Light reflects gently on the water as the waves lap against the shore. The breathtaking visual scenery combined with the soothing sound of the waves seems to carry the stress of your everyday life to somewhere far away.

There are only 13 rooms in the hotel, making it a nice, quiet place where guests can unwind. Don’t forget to get a good look at the magnificent Izu Shichito, the seven islands of Izu, which are visible from here as well.
When night falls the sky is filled to the brim with stars hanging over the ocean. The sound of the waves surrounds you while the moon shines brightly, a scene you’ll want to revel in for as long as you can.
From October to March each year, guests can also enjoy seeing the sun rise directly over the water in the morning.
Feel the sea breeze while bathing in an onsen

A gentle sea breeze flows through the bath’s open window, letting guests feel like they’re bathing right by the ocean. The wind brushing gently against you after warming up in the onsen bath is a wonderful sensation. The baths at the hotel have separate times for men and women, allowing everyone to enjoy both baths. Even though the ocean is right in front of you, the bath water is clear and not salty. The water isn’t harsh; it’s very gentle on the body.

Perfect for a short stay
The entrance to Iritahama Beach is right next to Toutei’s baths, so in the summer you can go straight to the beach in your bathing suit. If you go in other seasons, even if you can’t go swimming, the beach is great for a stroll.
