The Smokies, as the Great Smoky Mountains are more commonly known, are a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains, a part of the Blue Ridge Physiographic Province. Deriving its name from the natural fog that hangs over this range, this range is also home to a large population of black bears and salamanders. With various peaks forming a part of the Smokies, this is a popular destination for trekkers and nature lovers alike as there are plenty of activities to enjoy here, from waterfall hikes to helicopter tours. One of the most beautiful national parks in the US, the Smokies can be best enjoyed while taking up accommodation in cabins with hot tubs or secluded cabin rentals. Here are some of the best secluded cabins near the Great Smoky Mountains, USA.

- "The house was great, great amenities and great view. The location was nice but a little farther from town than I realized. Tons of games to play except a lot of stuff had been thrown in the yard by previous guests unfortunately. The grill was nice except for it was out of propane which we had to fix. Overall 9/10 and would recommend to someone wanting to stay in a cabin away from the city for a weekend." - Jackson G.

- "This was such a beautiful place. Peaceful and perfect for chilling out! Nice short walk through the woods without having to drive anywhere. We saw a female bald eagle (or juvenile) perched in the tree outside our house. So bring binoculars! Also bring a big pot if you plan on cooking pasta. The skillet was fine, but the pot was small. The cabin was very clean, and pillows and bed very comfy. I was afraid there would be mice since it was in the woods, but there were none! Our dog loved getting to come and we appreciated the treats/goody bowl. Oh and at night, the stars are incredible! Over all a 5 star experience!" - Margaret M.

Again amazing views never got tired of lookingIt was about a 20-25 minute drive to downtown GatlinburgThe next closest pool is a 10 minute driveIt worked every time we used it Even though this house is outside of downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge the drive to each locationThe first thing you'll notice at Heaven's Edge is the incredible view of the mountains from just about every spot on both decks but the inside of the home is just as impressive
